5. Lowell Hotel | New York City
A celebrity favourite, New York’s Lowell Hotel will re-launch in 2015 complete with new restaurant, bar and guest lounge. Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez have stayed at the luxurious Upper East Side property that houses 47 suites with full kitchens plus 27 deluxe rooms for an intimate residential atmosphere reminiscent of a private townhouse. Imbuing the property with a touch of presidential splendour, the new spaces have been designed by renowned designer Michael S. Smith, the man behind the White House’s re-imagined Oval Office.

The Lowell was originally built as an apartment hotel in the 1920’s. Today travelers return for the property's legendary home-away-from-home feel.

4. Palazzo Versace | Dubai
Joining Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, the Dubai outpost will be the second Versace-branded luxury hotel. Scheduled for a March opening, the five-star property will feature 215 rooms including 169 suits up to six bedrooms and Donatella Versace designed furniture. The hotel will evolve into a multi-functional space encompassing residential, retail, entertainment and cultural components as well as a 3.8km waterfront promenade connecting the hotel to a souq and marina.

The world’s second Palazzo Versace is set to open in Dubai in 2015, with every detail from the crockery to the curtains designed by the world famous fashion house.

3. Club Med Finolhu Villas Resort | Maldives
The eco-friendly, all-inclusive Finolhu Villas Resort will comprise of 52 exclusive waterfront villas and is set to open in February 2015. The resort occupies a private island near Club Med’s recently renovated Kani Premium Resort which offers reciprocal access to Finolhu guests. Luxury facilities include personal villa butlers, fine dining restaurants, a spa and private villa pools. The villas are also equipped with solar panels as part of the resort’s eco-commitment.

2. Alila Seminyak | Bali
A big drawcard for luxury Bali accommodation, the long-awaited opening of Alila Seminyak is set for second quarter 2015. Cocooned along a pristine beach on Bali’s southwest coast, less than 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, Alila Seminyak stands on the last remaining undeveloped beachfront site in Seminyak. The close proximity of the new property to the fashionable streets of one of the hottest destinations on the island  is an undeniable attraction.

1. Lizard Island | Queensland
Lizard Island will reopen in April 2015 after a year-long full renovation. The restoration retains the tradition and understated luxury of the resort while incorporating exciting new additions to compliment the exclusive accommodation options and five-star Ospreys Restaurant. The Great Barrier Reef resort is accessible only by private plane and offers guest experiences such as secluded picnics on private beaches, five-star cuisine, spa treatments and deep-sea excursions at one of the world’s best dive sites The Cod Hole.

Lizard Island is scheduled for a soft opening on 1 March 2015, with our full facilities and services to be open on 1 April 2015.
