A sell out event in past years, the 10-night festival of light in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) is a cultural immersion. Experience the rich history and ancient culture of Aboriginal Australia, told through a one-of-a-kind artistic showcase enhanced by modern technology.  

At its heart, a stunning light show transforms the 300-million-year-old MacDonnell Ranges into a breathtaking natural canvas. Large-scale illuminated sculptures scattered throughout the desert, animated artworks and a national line-up of artists, musicians, performers and storytellers complete the program. You simply won’t want to miss this event.

Ticketholders must be able to prove that they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to gain entry to the event. Venue management reserves the right to eject from a Venue without refund any patron who in its sole opinion refuses to follow any laws, regulations or directions from the federal or Northern Territory Government including but not limited to any directive of the Chief Health Officer made or amended in relation to COVID-19.
