Located around 90 minutes south-west of Brisbane, it encompasses some of the most untouched, and accessible, natural beauty in Australia. This 30,000-hectare World Heritage-listed National Park and Rainforest incorporates the Great Dividing Range, the Border Range and Tamborine Mountain, which make up the ‘rim’ and offer protection to the Gondwana rainforest that lies within its borders.

The best way to explore the Scenic Rim is by walking it, and sometimes when we get close to nature, we like to enjoy a bit of luxury as we do so.

As you take in the beauty of the native flora and fauna that you pass along the trail, your guide will also offer insights into the history of the area and how it came to be settled. Expect to encounter all that the area is known for as you hop across boulders in the dry eucalypt forest, traverse creeks through the lush subtropical rainforest and finally contemplate the sheer size of the ‘rim’ as you crunch through the open grassland.
