“I organised a walking trip on the Nakasendo Way in Japan, one of the five main trade routes of the Edo period. Parts of these ancient highways remain as they once were and offer a magical two-to-three-hour experience with views of forests and waterfalls along the way.”

It’s not just the ancient highways of Asia that Andrew loves, but also the rolling hills of Tuscany. He’s particularly fond of the walled city of Monteriggioni.

“I loved walking the olive groves outside the city walls, before enjoying pasta and wine at a cosy ‘ristorante’ within the medieval old town.”

Andrew also got a rush from walking the edge of the Iguazu Falls in Argentina.

Much like his action-packed itineraries, Andrew loves getting his heart racing on his own holidays, and there’s no better way than jumping out of a helicopter.

“My most thrilling adventure was heli-skiing on fresh powder in New Zealand. It was pretty surreal speeding down a mountain face with no other tracks in sight!” says Andrew.
