“Organising a bucket list experience for someone, learning the ‘why’ of someone's trip and being able to deliver it is why I work in travel,” explains Jenny. “The challenge, variety and constant world education is what makes me look forward to coming to work every morning.”

One especially memorable trip that Jenny had the pleasure of organising was a group holiday to Oberammergau, the Bavarian town that hosts a famous once-a-decade Passion Play.

“It was actually a holiday that a congregation organised for their much-loved minister, who was entering retirement,” says Jenny. “The minister and a group of parishioners booked a pilgrimage to Oberammergau to experience the Passion Play, and then decided to make the most of things. It turned into a six-week private tour of Europe and Israel for 25 people! It was a very inspirational trip to book, and an honour to be part of the experience.”

Jenny has journeyed to Israel herself and recommends you choose your travel guide carefully when visiting this extraordinary country.

“Travelling through Israel in the footsteps of the Bible was a truly humbling experience. We had an amazing guide, who shared so much about the way he lived and the history of Israel. It would have been a completely different trip without his narrative.”

Looking for a voyage by sea? Jenny specialises in cruise, and believes there’s a perfect ship and itinerary for every traveller.

“From Antarctica to the Arctic and everything in between, there’s a cruise to suit all tastes. The world is 70% water so it makes sense to travel the waterways and oceans of the world on the most relaxing of holidays. The ship changes the scenery without you having to lift a finger.”

If you’re an adventure traveller, Jenny’s personal favourite cruise memory will make you turn green with envy.

“I had the most incredible time cruising the Antarctic Peninsula from Ushuaia. I experienced everything I ever dreamed an Antarctic cruise could deliver, and I’m not just talking magical landscapes of ice. I was lucky enough to see penguins, whales and walruses. I even took the Antarctic polar plunge off Deception Island! Now that is something I’ll never forget.”

For more marvellous experiences in nature Jenny recommends Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian and Argentinian border.

“You must stay at the Belmond Das Cataratas Hotel, where you can simply wander out your front door to view the falls. For a closer look, take the “Flight of the Angels”, a helicopter ride over Iguazu, or take a boat ride across the top or from the base to the Devil’s Throat. Two lesser known must-dos: the first light morning tour and the Bird Park.”
