As of November 2017 there will be a new way to travel to the USA in luxurious comfort, with American Airlines announcing the addition of a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to service its Sydney - Los Angeles route.
The Dreamliner offers customers all the joys of travelling in a brand new aircraft and the option of flying Premium Economy, the first such class offered by a U.S. carrier on international flights. Increased comfort on the long journey between Australia and the USA is a benefit that is eagerly sought by discerning travellers, and American Airlines’ new offerings are expected to be popular choices.
American Airlines’ Premium Economy offers comfortable leather seats with 96 centimetres of pitch between seats, increased legroom, wider seats and expandable foot, leg and head rests. A carefully selected menu is served on modern china and flatware, and a complimentary list of quality wine, beer, and spirits is offered as an accompaniment. Premium Economy customers receive amenity kits which include noise reducing headphones and a pillow and blanket especially designed for comfort on long-haul flights.
Those travelling Business Class with American Airlines will enjoy stretching out on their fully lie-flat Super Diamond seats with direct aisle access. The premium onboard dining selection boasts a chef-inspired menu and a choice of award-winning wines for food pairing. To ensure ultimate guest comfort in flight the Business Class Cole Haan-branded amenity kit contains products from brands such as C.O. Bigelow, 3Lab and Clark’s Botanicals. American also offers Business Class customers Bose noise-reducing headphones and large screens so customers can better enjoy the airline’s extensive inflight entertainment options.
American Airlines continues to be committed to providing Australian travellers with a world-class experience, as well as access to nearly 220 daily departures from Los Angeles to 55 destinations worldwide.
