What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve created was curating a first European “Grand Tour” for a family travelling with their adult children. It marked a special transition from family holidays centered around routines and schedules to a more sophisticated, shared travel experience together. I designed an itinerary that perfectly balanced vibrant city experiences with relaxed private vineyard lunches and immersive cultural moments, allowing the family to reconnect in a completely new way. It became far more than just a holiday, it was a meaningful milestone celebrating a new chapter together.
What is your number one travel tip?
My number one travel tip is to ask locals for their favourite hidden spots rather than relying solely on apps or guidebooks. After a great meal, ask your server where they go on their day off, it’s often the best way to uncover authentic experiences, local favourites, and hidden gems you simply won’t find online.
What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
China and Italy are two destinations that continue to inspire me for completely different reasons. China captivates me with its incredible contrast of ancient history, rich traditions, and futuristic cityscapes, while Italy embodies the art of slow, beautiful living through its food, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Whether it’s standing on the Great Wall of China or enjoying a long lunch overlooking a Tuscan vineyard, both destinations offer an unforgettable connection to history, culture, and authentic local experiences.
What is your favourite travel memory?
My favourite travel memories are always centred around food and shared dining experiences. Whether it’s discovering hidden local eateries, joining a street food tour, or enjoying a beautifully curated regional dining experience, food has an incredible way of connecting you to the culture, people, and history of a destination. Every dish tells a story and offers a deeper understanding of how a place has evolved through tradition, heritage, and local life.
