I had some clients that did a river cruise with Scenic from Amsterdam to Budapest. I was able to get them training tickets to see the Lipizzaner stallions, which was high up on their list. This included a private tour through the stables and my clients were able to talk with the trainers.

I think it's easy to cram too much into your holiday. Make sure you have at least a day or two to stop, relax, and take in the sights. This is the best way to experience a destination.

I always recommend Chile. I love the diversity in landscape in the Atacama Desert, where you can drive half an hour from San Pedro in every direction and it can be a completely new world. It's also just a short flight to the serene Torres Del Paine National Park in Patagonia.
