Julie prides herself on her ability to tailor make the perfect holiday for every single client. “I love the challenge of piecing together lots of unusual and tricky requests to make a beautiful seamless holiday experience,” she says. “Every day is different, and no two client enquiries are alike.”

Her most memorable client proved quite the challenge, but also highly rewarding. “I once had a client come in with a map that spilled over the edges of my desk and he had circled national parks in remote areas that would be good for wildlife – I then put together an amazing itinerary to transport him and his wife between.”

On her own travels Julie has been blessed with some amazing experiences across 26 destinations, from right here at home in Australia to popular spots like Canada, the UK, USA and UAE, as well as South Africa, Morocco, Sweden and the Cook Islands.

From sun-drenched, sand-encrusted beach escapes to bustling city encounters and holidays filled with culture and history, Julie has done it all.

Her favourite spot – so far, that is – was Patagonia. She says it was “stunningly beautiful, wild, active, relaxing and full of wildlife spotting encounters”.

Travel also has the potential to be life-changing though, and Julie has experienced this first-hand. She’ll never forget her time in Africa and the way it impacted on her, leaving a lasting memory for years to come.

In particular, it was “sitting in the garden at a lodge in Africa and watching a herd of antelope and warthogs trot past, followed by a lion who sat outside our garden fence for hours,” that topped it off.

She also says, if you’re off to Cape Town: “make sure your trip to Cape of Good Hope includes a sunset drive along Chapman's Peak – it’s one of the most scenic drives in the world”.

It’s these tips, her experiences in the flesh and the myriad of holidays Julie has planned in-store that make her a travel expert through and though.

Her top tip of all? “When everyone else in your group is saying they are tired and want to rest for the afternoon in the hotel – ignore them and go do that amazing activity – you will not regret it!”
