From the roar of lions outside her glamping tent in Zimbabwe to a magical white Christmas in Lapland, Liz’s travel memories are as rich and varied as the destinations she’s explored. “What’s my favourite travel memory? It’s impossible to choose just one!” she says. “Some highlights that stand out include getting engaged at Niagara Falls, honeymooning through Italy, swimming in the stunning cenotes of Mexico’s Yucatán, and enjoying a luxurious 6-star family cruise in Alaska.”
An expert in cruising and guided tours, Liz holds CLIA’s prestigious Cruise Masters accreditation and was proudly named a Cruise Agent of the Year Finalist for 2023/24. Her knowledge covers a vast range of travel styles including ocean and river cruising, expedition and luxury cruising, family getaways, all-inclusive escapes, rail journeys, premium airfare experiences, self-drive and snow and ski holidays. Despite her global experience, Liz is far from finished exploring. “My travel bucket list is long,” she admits. “Right now, I’m focused on destinations that may become more difficult to access in the future. The Galápagos Islands, Greenland, and gorilla trekking in Rwanda are right at the top.”
Her approach to travel planning is personal and thorough. Liz strongly believes in face-to-face consultations whenever possible to truly understand her clients' needs, and always makes herself available while they’re away. “I want my clients to feel supported every step of the way. And honestly, there’s nothing I love more than receiving photos from them enjoying their trips; it’s the best part of what I do!”
So, what fuels her passion after two decades in the industry? “Travel is a profound source of joy for me and my family,” Liz shares. “The wonder of discovering new cultures, wildlife, history, and traditions - that’s what makes every journey special. My heart belongs to travel, and I’ll never stop exploring. More importantly, I want my clients to experience that same magic and transformative power that only travel can offer.”

What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
My favourite destination tends to change frequently as I discover new places. Lately, I’ve been daydreaming about returning to Lyon or Budapest to enjoy a leisurely river cruise—spending my days watching European castles and vineyards glide by while savouring a glass of wine. It’s the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery.
What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
I had the incredible privilege of organising an unforgettable Lapland adventure for a large family group eager to experience their very first white Christmas in the enchanting home of Santa Claus. Their holiday was truly magical, beginning with the breathtaking snowfall that set the perfect winter wonderland scene. They enjoyed a variety of thrilling activities, including exhilarating dog sledding through pristine forests and captivating reindeer safari rides across the snowy landscape. One of the highlights was witnessing the awe-inspiring Northern Lights dancing vividly across the Arctic sky—an experience that left everyone utterly speechless. To add a special festive touch and show my gratitude for booking this extraordinary trip through me, I also co-ordinated custom Christmas sweaters for the entire group, making their holiday even more personal and joyful.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
I go above and beyond for my clients by adding personalised touches and tailored recommendations to every trip I design. Having travelled extensively and developed an intimate understanding of what works best for travellers, I’m not afraid to suggest better options based on first-hand experience. I’m constantly expanding my knowledge to provide the best possible service.
What is your number one travel tip?
I always advise my clients to book as much as possible before they go. Don’t spend your precious vacation time figuring out your itinerary—save that time for soaking up the experience. When your activities, meals, and transport are all planned in advance, you can relax and truly enjoy every moment without the stress of last-minute arrangements.
