Get to know me
What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
I travel to Canada often as I am originally from Vancouver. I love exploring new locations of my home country. Japan has been one of my favourite countries to return to. I love the culture, food and kind people that live in this beautiful country. I have also extensively travelled around Europe and love smaller towns and cities to explore, not just the Paris, Amsterdam and Londons of the world. Some of my favourites have been Lake Bled, Slovenia, Bruge in Belgium, Bamberg in Germany, Czech Republic's Pilsen, Tampere, Finland and Tallinn in Estonia.
What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
I helped create a winter magical experience for a multi-generational family to enjoy Christmas in the USA. I even helped organise a nanny for the kids so the parents and grandparents could go skiing, as well as a real-life Christmas tree to be in the accommodation when they checked in. It was such a rewarding trip and memories they will never forget.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
I like to provide as much information to my clients to make it as easy as possible - from airport connection explained and the best ways to arrive into cities. I also like to include restaurant suggestions, beers/wines to try in different regions, and offer unique local knowledge. I like to add a personal touch and get to know my customers personally so that I can identify the things that matter to them most.
What is your number one travel tip?
I love to provide tips on packing, e-SIM usage, helpful apps, and tips and tricks for travelling with young children. I have an e-SIM referral and help to download this on clients' phones with them. I also suggest a few apps that can make life easier while you're travelling. My experience of travelling all over the world with my daughter means I have plenty of tips for travelling with little ones overseas.
