Machu Picchu. Perched high in the Peruvian Andes, the ancient Incan citadel is both mysterious and awe-inspiring. For me, it would represent the ultimate reward after a journey through a dramatic mountain landscape. What makes Machu Picchu so intriguing to me is not just the site itself, but the feeling of standing in a place that has captivated explorers and travellers for generations. Surrounded by mist-covered peaks and remarkable stone architecture, it offers a powerful connection to one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations. I cannot wait to go there and see it for myself.

Standing before the ancient Pyramids of Giza in Egypt was already a dream come true for me, but what made the experience truly unforgettable was the connection it gave me to my family's history.

As I stood before the Pyramids of Giza, I couldn't help but think of my grandfather, who had visited that very place during World War II, while serving as an Australian soldier. In that moment, the pyramids became more than just one of the world's most famous landmarks. They became a link to someone very special in my life. I found myself imagining what he might have seen and felt all those years ago. Knowing that decades earlier he had stood in the same city, looking upon the same ancient wonders and rode a camel beneath the same Egyptian sky - it was incredibly moving. It gave me a profound sense of gratitude, perspective and connection.

Of all the extraordinary destinations I have been fortunate enough to visit, nothing has touched me quite like that moment in Egypt. It was a moment of pride and remembrance that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Snorkelling and swimming in crystal-clear turquoise waters to sailing on a luxury yacht, going deep-sea fishing or a scenic hike, every day presents a new opportunity to immerse yourself in both nature and luxury.

One of my most treasured memories was celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on Hayman Island, where we were lucky enough to experience a very special private helicopter flight over the iconic Heart Reef. Seeing this natural wonder from above was truly breathtaking and remains one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life. Hayman is also a gourmet traveller's dream, with exceptional dining experiences and access to some of the freshest and most spectacular seafood the world has to offer.

Travel, to me, is about connection. It is the opportunity to immerse yourself in different cultures, traditions, landscapes and ways of life. While I love visiting iconic landmarks and staying in beautiful locations, it is often the people, shared experiences and unexpected moments that leave the greatest impression.

Travel has a unique way of bringing families, friends and loved ones together. Whether it's sharing a meal in a local restaurant, watching a breathtaking sunset, exploring a new city, or experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, these are the moments that strengthen relationships and create bonds that last long after the journey ends.
