Specialties
Cruise, Family Holiday, Premium Airfare, River Cruise, Small GroupSarah has made a name for herself helping people explore the world with confidence - solo travellers especially - so it's little wonder she's become a trusted specialist in cruising and independent travel for her clients at Gungahlin.
Her number one piece of advice is to find the right balance between organisation and pace. "The best holidays aren't about trying to fit everything in, but about understanding what you actually want to experience and giving yourself the time to enjoy it," she explains. "A well-planned itinerary should make a trip feel effortless, not rushed - leaving room to slow down, explore and enjoy the moments in between."
Sarah is a particular fan of river cruising, having sailed the Rhine through Switzerland, France, Germany and the Netherlands herself. "Unpacking once and travelling at night was amazing - we did so much sightseeing, and Colmar was a real highlight," she recalls, pointing to the ease of having sightseeing and meals included so travellers can simply focus on the destination.
One experience she's especially proud of was helping a nervous solo traveller find the confidence to cruise on her own, having previously only sailed with her late mother. "I took the time to really understand what she was nervous about and talked her through everything, from the cruise itself to the logistics of travelling alone," Sarah says. "Seeing her go from unsure to genuinely excited about the trip was so rewarding." It's an approach that defines the way she works - never rushing, letting clients ask every question, and adding thoughtful touches along the way, from birthday cakes to small celebrations.
When it comes to where her clients stay, Sarah loves recommending Andaz Singapore. "It combines contemporary luxury with a real sense of place, rather than feeling like a five-star hotel that could be anywhere," she says, pointing to its spot near the colourful Kampong Glam neighbourhood, the direct link to Bugis MRT, and a rooftop pool with panoramic views across the city.
Above all, Sarah sees travel as a privilege to be part of - whether she's giving solo travellers the confidence to see the world, bringing families together, or helping mark a special occasion. It's that genuine care clients notice, as one put it after the eight-week UK and Europe holiday she arranged: "Sarah is lovely and genuinely cares about people."

What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
One of the experiences I’m most proud of was helping a nervous solo female traveler feel confident enough to go on a cruise by herself. She had previously travelled with her late mother with the same cruise company, so it was quite an emotional trip for her. I took the time to really understand what she was nervous about and talked her through everything, from the cruise itself to the logistics of traveling on her own. It was really rewarding seeing her go from feeling unsure about doing it alone to feeling confident and excited about the trip.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
For me I would say it's building the confidence with my travelers. Letting them ask all the questions and go over the details slowly and clearly. I don't rush. For me it's not just a booking it is about building a professional relationship and I genuinely care about all of my clients holidays. I like to add extra touches on their trips, like arranging cakes for birthdays etc.
What is your number one travel tip?
My travel tip is to find the right balance between organisation and pace. I believe the best holidays aren't about trying to fit everything in, but about understanding what you actually want to experience and giving yourself the time to enjoy it. A well-planned itinerary should make a trip feel effortless, not rushed, leaving room to slow down, explore and enjoy the moments in between.
What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
I honestly love traveling Australia, it is so versatile with so much to see and do. However, Europe with the beautiful buildings and all the history is such an amazing experience, I have to mention Paris and London.
Where or what is still on your travel bucket list?
I'd love to experience a hot air balloon over Cappadocia. For closer to home, swimming with the whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef is something I'd love to do.
What is your favourite travel memory?
I would have to say when I went on a river cruise along the Rhine river through Switzerland, France, Germany and Amsterdam. The perfect way to experience the world, unpacking once and travelling at night was amazing. We did so much sightseeing, Colmar was a highlight for me. Was great to have sightseeing and meals included and just focusing on experiencing the destinations.
What is your favourite luxury hotel and why?
Andaz Singapore is a hotel I love recommending to my clients. I love that it combines contemporary luxury with a real sense of place, rather than feeling like a traditional five-star hotel that could be anywhere. Its location in Bugis, right near the colourful Kampong Glam neighbourhood, gives clients easy access to local restaurants, boutiques and some of Singapore’s best-known streets, while the direct connection to Bugis MRT makes exploring the city incredibly convenient. Add in the rooftop pool, panoramic city views and stylish design, and it’s a hotel that offers that little bit of luxury while still feeling fun and relaxed.
Why do you love travel? Tell us what it means to you?
I love being a part of creating memories for my clients. Whether it's giving my solo travelers the confidence to experience the world, celebrating special occasions or helping bring families together. It' such a privilege to be a part of the experience. Travel is so much more than sightseeing and connecting with people and the world is such a great feeling.
