With over 16 years in the travel industry and stamps from all seven continents, Sue Salisbury is the definition of a seasoned travel expert. Having explored more than 30 countries, Sue brings a wealth of experience, first-hand insight, and a true passion for crafting unforgettable journeys.

From expedition cruises in Antarctica to river cruises in Europe, ski holidays in Canada, and adventure tours across Southeast Asia, Sue’s travel style is as diverse as the destinations she’s explored. Whether you're dreaming of solo travel through Morocco, a small group tour in Peru, or an all-inclusive escape in the tropics, Sue is the trusted advisor who can turn your dream into reality.

Her specialties include Adventure Travel, Expedition Cruises, Island & Beach Holidays, Premium Airfare, Small Group and Solo Travel, Ocean Cruises, and River Cruises. She has personally travelled with some of the world’s leading adventure operators like Aurora Expeditions, Intrepid, Bunnik, Adventure World, and G Adventures, giving her invaluable insider knowledge that she brings to every client experience.

Some of Sue’s favourite destinations reflect her love for contrast, culture, and raw natural beauty. Antarctica tops the list as a true bucket-list experience remote, awe-inspiring, and unforgettable. She was mesmerised by Iceland’s Northern Lights, while Peru captured her heart with its dramatic landscapes, rich culture, and world-class cuisine. Morocco stood out for its vibrant colours and diversity, and Spain and Portugal impressed with their irresistible blend of food, architecture, and warm, welcoming people. Closer to home, Sue finds New Zealand pristine and peaceful, with incredible natural beauty and hospitality, while Canada remains a firm favourite for its stunning wildlife, snow-covered landscapes, ski adventures, and friendly locals.

Which destinations are still on her bucket list? East Africa’s Ngorongoro Crater, Botswana’s wilds, climbing Kilimanjaro, Madagascar’s unique biodiversity, India, Turkey, Montenegro, Japan, and a classic ‘Eat Pray Love’ journey through Italy.

Sue always offers this top tip to her clients: “The hotel concierge is your best friend. Their job is to know what’s happening locally and use their connections to make things happen for you don’t hesitate to ask. They often go above and beyond to help.”

Clients love Sue for her calm professionalism, deep destination knowledge, and talent for uncovering authentic, off-the-beaten-path experiences. Whether you're chasing the Northern Lights, cruising the Arctic, or exploring the spice markets of Marrakech, Sue has the insight and expertise to elevate your journey from ordinary to extraordinary.

What is your favourite travel memory?

Antarctica should be on everyone’s bucket list. It’s a journey to get there, but once you arrive, it’s unlike anywhere else. In a place this remote, everyone is truly present with one another (and yes, we even had Wi-Fi!). The wildlife is abundant and completely unbothered by humans—so up close and amazing. And the scenery? Absolutely otherworldly. It’s something truly special. How do you even begin to top that?

What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?

I’ve had the privilege of creating some truly unforgettable journeys for my clients! One standout trip was a luxurious 50th birthday celebration that spanned East and Southern Africa, staying in some of the continent’s finest lodges. On another occasion, a pair of retirees circumnavigated South America in style aboard several ultra-luxury cruise lines, with incredible side trips to Machu Picchu, the Amazon, and the Falkland Islands.

Why do you love travel? Tell us what it means to you?

Travel feeds my curiosity. It’s about constantly learning, meeting new people, immersing yourself in different cultures, and savouring unforgettable food. I’m especially drawn to places that feel untouched, where you can watch wildlife simply existing in the wild. I love stepping outside my comfort zone—there’s something thrilling about not knowing what’s around the corner. At the same time, I truly appreciate life’s little (and big) luxuries: a surprise upgrade, a stunning hotel, or a delicious meal shared in good company.

How do you go above and beyond for your clients?

I think the more you know your clients, the better recommendations you're able to offer. I believe in being authentic and honest. By knowing each and every client, their interests and their reason for travel, we can offer better choices, and travel suggestions. It's about putting thought into every aspect of their trip, understanding the logistics, the location, and the occasion.
