Add to that her many adventures abroad - to over 43 countries across Asia, Europe, the South Pacific and the Americas - and it’s clear why Yasmin is such a star consultant. “I have the pleasure of being part of people's journeys and enhancing their holiday through expertise and personal travel experiences,” she says.

Yasmin specialises in round the world holidays, adventure group travel and expedition cruises, so no holiday is too difficult. “Bucket list journeys and off the beaten track holidays make the most memorable experiences,” she points out.

“For one client, I booked a one-year-long Business Class round the world trip which included an incredible list of once-in-a lifetime experiences. Seeing the Gorillas in Uganda/Rwanda, trekking in Patagonia, exploring the Ahus on Easter Island, and joining an expedition cruise in the Arctic, plus so much more.”

She says group touring is one of her favourite ways to travel. “Because you can fully focus on your holiday destination instead of getting caught up in the planning of where to stay and which train to catch.” She adds: “However the best part about group touring is that you will meet new people to share your trip of a lifetime with.”

Yasmin’s own adventures have taken her as far as Kyrgyzstan. “The breathtaking landscapes and national parks, rich culture and the feel of adventure make it an unbelievable holiday destination.” She’s also hiked the Simien Mountain National Park in Ethiopia, “taking in the endless landscapes, watching the sunset overlooking the horizon”.

Wherever you go and whatever trip style suits you, she suggests: “Always consider a food or market tour when arriving in a new destination - there's no better way to dive into a new culture.”
