Air New Zealand's much-anticipated new Business Premier™cabin will debut on selected routes in 2025.
After nearly two decades with their open, angled Business Premier™ pods, Air New Zealand is embracing a more contemporary design philosophy with their long-awaited Business Premier™ cabin experience.
The retrofit of their Boeing-787 aircraft, said to begin rolling out early this year, will transform the current configuration to a sophisticated personal space concept, delivering the private sanctuary in the skies that premium travellers have long wished for.

Air New Zealand's New Business Premier™Seats
The reimagined Business Premier™ experience is set to strike an impressive balance between space and comfort, with a generous 20.5-inch width seat converting to an 80.25-inch fully flat bed, promising luxury travellers the rest and privacy needed on long-haul journeys.
Window seats are thoughtfully angled to maintain views while offering discreet privacy through sliding panels – a sophisticated alternative to the full-door suites seen elsewhere.

Air New Zealand's Business Premier Luxe™Seats
Joining the growing trend of 'Business-Plus' cabins, Air New Zealand has introduced the new addition of four to eight Business Premier™ Luxe seats, situated at the very front of the cabin.
These ultra-exclusive spaces bring a true first-class feel, featuring privacy doors and a versatile ottoman that transforms for companion dining, making them particularly appealing for couples and/or business travellers seeking extra space and privacy on long-haul routes.
The Future of Business Class
The rollout of Air New Zealand's brand new Business Class is set to begin on their Auckland-Vancouver and Auckland-Rarotonga routes, with more destinations to be added as each 787 is retrofitted into 2026.
Also to come is a fleet of factory-fresh 787-9s, featuring an expanded premium configuration with 42 Business Premier™ seats and eight Business Premier Luxe™ seats.
