Alexis’s own travel adventures are a testament to her passion. “One of my all-time favourite travel moments was soaring above the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, Turkey, in a hot air balloon at sunrise,” she recalls. “Even now, it remains one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had.” When asked about what’s still on her travel bucket list, Alexis is eager to explore Africa, Central and South America, Antarctica, and Japan - places she dreams of revealing to her clients.
A luxury resort enthusiast, Alexis’s favourite retreat is the Lomani Island Resort in Fiji, which she visited earlier this year. "It was the perfect blend of grounding serenity and 5-star luxury," she shares. "A place that truly stays with you - and I’ll absolutely be returning!"
For those planning their own adventures, Alexis offers her top travel tip: "Download the maps.me app before you go. It allows you to download maps on Wi-Fi and use them offline, which is a lifesaver when you don’t have data and need to find your way or locate a nearby café or restroom."

What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
I have a few! Firstly, Canada – I spent two incredible years there and was constantly amazed by the breathtaking landscapes, the warmth of the people, and the magical snowy seasons. Next is Fiji – I’m absolutely enchanted by the joyful spirit, laid-back island lifestyle, and the genuine hospitality that makes every visit feel like home. India is another favourite – the vibrant energy, rich colours, and dynamic culture captivate me every time. The people are wonderfully kind and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
There have been so many memorable moments, as most of the trips I plan are once-in-a-lifetime experiences for my clients. One that really stands out is when a client walked in and simply said, “Find me a trip anywhere in the world, as long as I can leave within the month.” I ended up booking her on a premium Intrepid journey through Borneo. She completely fell in love with the destination - the rich culture, the immersive experiences, and especially her time with the orangutans. She was so touched by the trip that she even brought me back some of Borneo’s famous white pepper as a thank you!
Why do you love travel? Tell us what it means to you?
I discovered my love for travel in 2016 when I took a leap and applied for a working holiday visa to live and work in Canada. That decision sparked a lifelong passion - what started as an adventure quickly turned into an irresistible travel bug! For me, travel is all about embracing the unknown, immersing myself in different cultures, and creating unforgettable memories that once felt like distant dreams. It's also about the incredible people you meet along the way and the shared stories that connect us through a mutual love for exploration.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
I personalise every interaction to ensure each journey is tailored to my clients' unique preferences and needs. I always send them off with a heartfelt "bon voyage" and welcome them home with care. I also ask for feedback to continually improve and better serve future clients.
