Considering an independent holiday or active holiday experience? Kerry is also a superstar at that. In fact, active holidays are Kerry’s greatest passion - a way to “truly experience a destination with all senses tuned” as she puts it.
Kerry has even done the “life-changing” 18-day trek to Everest Base Camp: “Seeing the sun rise over the top of the world whilst climbing to Kala Patthar Peak at 5643 metres takes your breath away - in more than one way. It’s both an amazing physical and mental challenge.”
But she also loves Italy. “Having Italian heritage, I have a soft spot for everything to do with Italy. The food, the wine, the people, the history and the countryside. It has both spectacular beaches and mountaintops covered in snow, plus beautiful old laneways and cobbled streets all in the one country.”

What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
Italy! I think this one speaks for itself - there is no part of Italy that you can visit and not fall in love with. "La dolce vita", as they say! And after visiting, you will come home with this feeling that never leaves you. I favour the South of Italy, and hopefully in the coming year, I can visit the Puglia region in more depth. Of course, Greece is another favourite. From the scenery, and rich history, to the spectacular beaches with crystal-clear waters, and the fresh, local and delicious food. This is a destination for young and old.
What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
I arranged a private charter plane around Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia. This was an amazing opportunity to work with a private pilot to create an itinerary that fit the flying durations of the plane along with finding luxury lodges and 'glamping' accommodation in some of the most remote regions in Australia. I'll never forget a remote lodge asking the pilot to call in about 20 minutes prior to landing to allow them time to clear the wildstock from the runway. Now that's what I call a unique and personalised itinerary!
Why do you love travel? Tell us what it means to you?
Travel is something I live and breath. Not only do I enjoy exploring other countries far and wide, but I also enjoy exploring my own backyard. Travel enriches the mind and soul - to live is to travel. My first time travelling overseas was when I was 19 when I visited Italy and London; never did I expect it would turn into my greatest love and become my career of choice.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
Attention to detail is so important. This means taking the time to ensure my clients have their needs met, from seating, to meals to the right style of accommodation and holiday style - each person is individual and no one trip is the same. I like to contact hotels in advance for my clients, especially when they're celebrating a special occasion or when there is a more unusual need, just to make sure they have everything in place. Also, I enjoy welcoming my clients home on their return - I want to learn about their time away and be part of the entire trip, from start to finish.
