Before joining Travel Associates, Shannon spent more than four years with Etihad Airways, first as a flight attendant and later in the airline's marketing team. Combined with a lifelong connection to the hotel industry, her unique background gives her an exceptional understanding of every stage of the travel experience - from choosing the ideal flight and accommodation to discovering those hidden moments that make a destination truly memorable.

Shannon is passionate about creating itineraries that reflect her clients' individual interests rather than following a traditional sightseeing checklist. One of her favourite client journeys was a bespoke honeymoon through Italy, designed around the couple's love of food and wine. From boutique accommodation and vineyard visits to self-drive adventures through the countryside, every element was carefully tailored to create a journey that felt completely their own.

Africa remains the destination closest to Shannon's heart. One of her own most treasured memories was trekking through the Sahara Desert with Berber guides, sleeping beneath a blanket of stars alongside her camel—an experience she describes as both humbling and unforgettable.
