Of course, Sam is an avid traveller herself and has roamed to a range of destinations, including experiencing jaw-dropping scenery through the Canadian Rocky Mountains on the Rocky Mountaineer, hiking through the Peruvian Andes visiting local villages and discovering ancient Incan ruins along the way, and enjoying luxury accommodation while on a Sri Lankan wildlife safari, just to name a few.

What are your favourite destinations to visit and why?
I love getting off the beaten path and discovering hidden gems - immersing yourself in the authenticity and culture of the destination is the best way to experience a new place. Hiking through the Peruvian Andes, visiting local villages and discovering ancient Incan ruins along the way was definitely a highlight. Also, diving with a huge variety of rare pelagic fish species in the Southern Maldivian Islands was a uniquely special experience too.
What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
Just recently I arranged a proposal for clients who were travelling to Thailand. In partnership with their luxury resort, The Sarojin in Khao Lak, I was able to plan a private experience for the couple to be chauffeured by luxury 4WD into the jungle to a reveal of thousands of candles lighting their own private waterfall, followed by a spectacular dining setting with their own personal chef and waitstaff. It was the ultimate romantic setting!
Why do you love travel? Tell us what it means to you?
To me travel is the biggest educational tool there is - it can have such a positive impact on someone's life! It's the best way to recharge, and it encourages you to see and try new experiences. It teaches you about different cultures, customs, and historical significances. By being exposed to the world around us it also teaches us empathy and gratitude.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
I plan tailor-made holidays for my clients, leaving no stone unturned. In each instance, I will create a customised itinerary to ensure all of their holiday dreams come true!
