Ultra Luxury

Couples

Set to debut in August 2027, Oceania Sonata is the ninth vessel in the fleet and the inaugural ship of the all-new Sonata Class, a collection of four ships that will set new standards for intimate luxury at sea. This latest addition represents a significant evolution in the cruise line's commitment to culinary excellence and refined travel, with enhanced spaces and innovative dining experiences.

The Suite Life

The new Oceania Sonata will boast elegant suites with ocean-facing verandahs and a world-class culinary lineup that elevates luxury cruising to new heights.

Oceania Sonata will be the most spacious and amenity-rich vessel Oceania Cruises has launched to date. Accommodating 1390 guests, the ship's standout feature is its impressive suite offering: 30% of all accommodations will be suites, the highest proportion in the fleet. The ship will debut two entirely new suite categories alongside spectacularly reimagined Owner's Suites. Every stateroom and suite will feature a private, spacious verandah, ensuring all guests enjoy uninterrupted connection to the ever-changing seascapes throughout their voyage.

Two Groundbreaking New Restaurants

True to Oceania Cruises' reputation for serving "The Finest Cuisine at Sea", Oceania Sonata will feature 10 exceptional dining venues, including two headline-making additions. La Table par Maitres Cuisiniers de France offers an ultra-exclusive 18-seat experience with menus created by Master Chefs of France from around the world, delivering an intimate and highly personalised culinary journey. Nikkei Kitchen brings an exciting new fusion concept to the fleet, featuring vibrant Peruvian flavours combined with Japanese techniques for a truly contemporary dining experience.

Guest favourites will return with renewed elegance, including the Grand Dining Room, pan-Asian Red Ginger, Polo Grill steakhouse, Italian specialty restaurant Toscana, and the sophisticated French restaurant Jacques, named after legendary Chef Jacques Pépin. Additional exclusive dining venues and experiences will be revealed in the coming months.

Pioneering a New Generation of Ships

Oceania Sonata’s atrium (render) is a soaring, light-filled lobby that welcomes guests with a sweeping staircase, a sculptural centrepiece and a skylight rising all the way to the top deck.

Currently under construction by Fincantieri, the renowned Italian shipbuilder behind Oceania Cruises' acclaimed Marina, Riviera, Vista, and Allura, Oceania Sonata will blend grand, light-filled spaces that inspire celebration with serene enclaves designed for relaxation. As the first of four ships in the Sonata Class rolling out through the coming years, this new generation of vessels signals Oceania Cruises' vision for the future of intimate luxury cruising, centred on culinary excellence, sophisticated design, and meaningful destination experiences.
